The Bachelor – On the Wings of Love

jake-pavelka-vienna-girardi-picLast night I sat in front of the Television for 2 solid hours and watched the final episode of “The Bachelor”.  Of course I had to stop to put the kids to bed during commercials breaks.  I do not watch much TV but my girlfriend got me hook on the series when we hung out together one Monday night mid season, I missed a few episodes but websites are great for catching up.

It was a fun 2 hours as I knitted and watched (Mothers have to multi-task).  Well the choice of Vienna was not really a shock for me when it was down to two people.  Watching the two women with Jake, he seemed to be having so much fun with Vienna with teasing and rough housing.  The relationship with Tenley was more formal, she was a nice girl that everyone liked but she seemed to constantly talk about her divorce.

Vienna was also more confident about herself.  The confidence in yourself is attractive.  I talked about the book Making Sense of Men.  Alison Armstrong, the author shows us how men think, why and how they are attracted to us females.  Confidence in yourself radiates positive energy more than someone who is insecure or unsure of themselves.  Believing that you are special makes such a difference.  Kyle, my husband, after reading Making Sense of Men, wrote his take on how he made sense of himself.  It was enlightening for me too.

I didn’t really watch the beginning of the season so I am not sure about the side of Vienna that everyone hated so much.  I guess I like to see the good in people.  Whoever we were rooting for, it is ultimately Jake who is the “one” who would be sharing his life with her.  I am happy for them and hope everything works out for them.  Marriage is so much fun.
