Wow, Natalie is 4 years old today. I remember the morning that she was born. It felt like I was having my first child. The long labour, the walk to the park to help with the labour. The surprise that I had a little girl. What a wonderful memory. I just expected another little boy. The dynamics that she has brought into our lives has been an experience.
My theory is that every daddy needs a little girl in their lives, they teach them alot. Natalie bring about a flare into the lives of the boys. They are really patient brothers, on most occasions. Somedays I think that 2 kids would have been too easy. 2 children, 2 parents, simple. 3 kids, they have to share a lap or parent. They learn to compromise and give in to each other and there is a little time out when they just don’t want to share.
So today we took a drive to Pine Falls to see a mobile home park with the kids and thought we could go fishing. Matthew really wanted to fish and Gong Gong is an avid fisherman, he was going to teach Matthew. Unfortunately, the winds were too strong and the water was too high, so it made is unsafe to learn to fish. So we sat in the Van and had our picnic lunch.
Since we were close to Grand Beach, we decided to go there to play. The winds were so strong there too. Natalie had her birthday cake, they played in the water a little and then everyone played in the sand dunes. That is the fun part about Grand Beach. Check out the pictures.
