This last weekend, our friend Rick call us up to join them at their property on lake Schnarr in Ontario. We jumped at the chance. We have been there every summer and the kids just love hanging out and just playing with their kids. They have no running water or electricity so it is a [...]

Natalie’s New Haircut

Natalie does not like having her hair brushed.  She finally asked me to cut her hair.  So I did.  Here are the before, during and after shots.  It is so much easier for short hair, less shampoo, less conditioner and no need to use the hair dryer and no time wasted combing or complaining….

Now that we have been in Winnipeg for almost 3 years, and having all our stuff in boxes in the garage, we have discovered that we do not need most of the stuff there.  So we have decided to sell a lot of it.  Most of which are household items and “stuff”.  So we have [...]

Creating a Vision Board

Sleeping In Their Fort

Yesterday, Natalie and Andrew built a fort in the basement and decided to sleep in it.  They asked our permission and we thought, why not?  They were so excited, they brought that clothes, stuff animals, pillows and blankets down there and set up for the night.  We were not sure how long it would last [...]

I love being with people

Kyle’s mum stayed with us for two night and just left today.  We had a great visit and loved having her stay with us.  She was able to relax and she helped with the weeding (yeah!) and played with the kids.  We just love having her visit with us.
