Kids are Back at School

Two weeks ago, I made the difficult decision of sending the kids back to school.  The thing is that they were doing so well at home, Andrew and Matthew being so far ahead of their grade.  It was a tough decision especially when were have already been home schooling after we arrived here in Ottawa.

Walking 2.5km to Chinese School

One of the first things we signed up for when we got to Ottawa was to sign the children for Chinese School.  It is subsidised by the school board and cost only $10 for a 2.5 hour class every Saturday morning.  What a great way to learn another language.

We finally received all our belongings from Winnipeg.  All 3200lbs of it.  I guess that is what happens when you have mementos and books….

Going Green in Ottawa

I have been learning about going green for the last 3 years. It is not something that can be done overnight, it is a gradual process. Now starting a new adventure in Ottawa, I am excited about being able to live green.
