A Wonderful Sunday

We are having so much fun here in Warner Robins.  The town is great, the people are friendly, not that many mosquitoes and warm weather.  I understand what being a snow bird is like, not like it is too hard to understand.  I have made some good friends here and I think I will really miss it when we leave.  So before we leave, we are making sure we get a chance to see and do as much as possible.

Yesterday, was such a fun day, it seemed like we did so much and there are only about 12 waking hours in a day.  For the kids at least.  The day started with church where we met a family that sat next to us.  They welcomed us in the usual southern friendly manner.  After church, we headed out to the aviation museum and saw more planes in hangers 1 and 3 that we hadn’t seen yet, our 3rd trip there.  There are so many planes, if ever you are in Georgia, I highly recommend coming here, and it is free, http://www.museumofaviation.org/

After spending a couple of hours there, we went home for lunch.  Kyle and I worked for a couple of hours while the small one played and Matthew read.  Kyle says that he doesn’t want to tent on the ground anymore so we are thinking of buying a pop tent trailer/camper, cheap and can be pulled by our van.  Did some research online and found a couple. unfortunately they are up north, about a 2 hour drive away so looks like we might have to do a road trip north!

After working we went to the dollar store, we promised the kids that they could buy something each as a treat.  We havn’t really bought anything for them since we have been here beside the recorder that they are learning to play.  They wanted something from the museum gift shop but that was a little pricy. The kids had fun looking at all the toys and stuff in the shop.

After the dollar store, we headed to Old Navy to return some stuff.  While we were there, they had a 50% off sale, of course, I could’nt pass that up so I browsed the store while the kids played around the clothes racks, Kyle was not too impressed.  Hey, they were having fun.  Kyle and I both got some good deals.  Yup I don’t think we can fit all our stuff back into the van!!

After shopping, we went to Buffalo’s resturant.  Kids eat free on Sundays.  Wow what a deal.  One of our friend Georgia B, works there and the kids love her and she spoils them.  So we were able to visit with her as she served us.

After doing so much, they kids still got to bed at 8:30pm.  At bedtime, Matthew couldn’t decide what his favourite part of the day was, he just had so much fun all day. It feels so good when they say that.  Kyle and I also felt that way too, we are bless with great kids and bless that we can do so much fun stuff together.

family, friends, kids, travel
