Library in Warner Robins
Just spent the afternoon at the library. We havn’t been able to borrow any books as we are not residents of Georgia(no legal documents with our name on it), so the kids spend lots of time reading there. Matthew has to finish his chapter books ( like Magic Treehouse) while we are there and he can do it in under an hour. He is amazing. Sometime we wonder, so Kyle quizes him and he knows and remember what he read.
The kids section in the library also has a computer section where the kids can play games. At home they can only play if either one of us is not working and just easier with a mouse vs the mouse pad on the laptop. Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are to have public libraries to enjoy.
Another good thing today, we were fortunate as Kathleen (Mobile Home Park Manager) offered to borrow books for us from the library, so we borrowed a bunch of books. Perfect timing as Matthew was complaining about reading his books numerous times. The library also has story time for pre-school kids starting next week, so I will bring Natalie, I know that she will enjoy it.
When we went to the Macon Flea Market on the weekend, we lucked out and found a couple of kids books too and a few for ourselves. As we buy stuff, we have to make sure we get rid of stuff too, otherwise we won’t be able to fit everything back in the van. We might need a trailer….. they are so cheap here!! A home on wheels…. Stay tuned!
