Death, Funeral and AfterLife
Death is a natural way of life. We are born, we live our life on the earth and then we die. Depending on what you believe in, that is the end of you, you go to hell or heaven or you are reincarnated into something else.
I personally believe in life after death. I believe that everyone is good so when they die, they eventually go to heaven. Some make detours while other don’t, some take longer to get ther. Everyone needs to greif. Life as we know it has changed with the passing of a person, everything will change.
Do you think that maybe we might be a little selfish? Should we be happy for the person who is in a better place? I guess we are sad for the ones that will be left without a spouse, parent, child, grandparent or friend. Mother Teresa was waiting to die and to be with her father in heaven. Can we all be like that? I personally look forward to the day that I will be joined in heaven with my “father”. I also know that this would upset the kids and Kyle and my friends and family. I do not wish to bring sadness to them.
Unfortunately none of us know when it is our time. We need to live our life to the fullest. Enjoy every moment and never say tomorrow, sometimes tomorrow never comes.
As death is part of our life, kids need to understand what it means to die and why they die. They know more than you realize so they will understand when you explain it to them. They might not grasp it right away but it time they will be better off knowing the truth. Kids should also be allowed to go to funerals. Jesus said “let the children come to me”. They know how to pray and they too can pray for the soul of the deceased. Death to them will not be a scary thing as they understand what is going on.
Someone dying is not pleasent. Life goes on and we cope and remember. Understanding that they are in a better place will make out lives here without them a little easier. Cherish every moment you are with your friends or loved ones. The memories will keep them alive. Hugs and kisses to all.
